SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMMITTEE
To ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all women employees and students, our institution has established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015.
The committee plays a vital role in safeguarding the dignity and rights of women by addressing complaints of sexual harassment with sensitivity and confidentiality. It serves as a formal mechanism to prevent and redress incidents of harassment through timely inquiry and resolution, awareness programs, and continuous monitoring of campus safety measures.
The ICC has been formed strictly following the guidelines issued by the UGC, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, and reaffirming our commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against sexual harassment.
